HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANA GRACE

Chloe stood on a chair that she had brought from her room (which was three doors down), trying to staple the string of the birthday banner to Lana's wall. She had stolen the stapler from downstairs, despite the fact that it was labeled with "DO NOT REMOVE FROM OFFICE". Where else was she supposed to find a stapler anyways? The rest of the room was decorated with pretty balloons and streamers and stuff, but she was in a hurry because Lana Grace could return in any moment.

Lana Grace was oddly held up in defense class when Aliana came into the class and talked to her for probably thirty minutes. It was honestly a little suspicious. She finally got to her dorm and unlocked it, only to find Chloe in the middle of the room. Chloe what in the world? She asked, throwing her keys on her dresser.

Chloe almost fell of the chair when she heard Lana Grace's voice. Turns out that Aliana wasn't as great as stalling as she thought. Honestly if she had kept her away for at least 2 more minutes Chloe would've been ready. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Chloe exclaimed, hopping off the chair and throwing her arms open like she was saying 'tadaaa!'
"If you had waited like, three more minutes before returning the surprise would've been better, I swear. I was planning on turning the lights off and stuff. But do you like it?"

You're an absolute sweetheart, Chlo, Lana gushed. She moved over to the blonde, wrapping her arms around Chloe's neck. This was the biggest thing anyone has done for her birthday since she's been at camp. When she lived with her moms they would go to the Greene Turtle on the boardwalk and she would get a free dessert and the best lemonade she's ever had. This moment was better than any lemonade she has ever tasted though. I absolutely love it--I can't believe you did all of this. She told her, kissing Chloe's cheek.
