Mortal Parent: Nita Chan, a librarian Her mother was Choctaw and her father was Chinese, which explains Jia's race.
How they met: Nita was working a late shift and when it was time to close, there was a man who wouldn't leave. He'd been there all day. So Nita walked over to tell him that she was closing up, but instead was distracted by the book he was reading; it was one of her favorites. They had a very in-depth discussion about it and agreed to meet sometime outside of the library to talk more about it. The meetings turned to dates, and soon enough they were engaged. However, Wenchang Wang had to leave as gods do, so the wedding never happened. But Jia did.
Personality (at least three lines): Jia can be described as an optimist, an artist, and pretty much the greatest friend you could ever have. She would never hurt a fly unless said fly hurt her first, and even then she would ask it to apologize before doing anything too rash. On that note, she is understanding and rational and makes most of her decisions based on logic rather than emotion. She is rarely ever stressed or angry, for she displays negative emotions through her paintings in her room and/or chalk murals around Camp Dynasty. You can go to her if you ever need anything.
Flaws (at least 4):
*Distant - Jia can sometimes go off into a dream world, which causes her to be emotionally distant.
*Blunt - She's not afraid to tell people the honest truth, and sometimes doesn't realize that she can hurt people's feelings.
*Loyal - Yes, a flaw. Her loyalty can sometimes make her fail to see things as they truly are. If her friend does something wrong, she will stick by their side no matter what and insist that they are innocent.
*Optimism - Along with being a strength, her optimism keeps her from thinking realistically.
Pets (optional): Jia has an adult female Golden Retriever named Lola that she brought with her when she first came to camp.
Weapon (optional): Despite her peaceful nature, Jia is skilled with a green dragon crescent blade. The designs and the hilt are a lighter green than the jade the makes up the blade.
Powers: N/A
Abilities:
Inspiration - As Jia enters the room, so does everyone surrounding her's inspiration
Constellations - Jia can use the stars to guide her. It's her dad's abode so y'know.
Time in Camp/the Legion/Brooklyn House: 6 years
History (at least eight sentences): Jia grew up in a regular home with just his mother up until she was ten. She had always been interested in the arts at a young age, and only advanced when her mother bought her her own canvas when she was six. She was going to her very first art show three weeks after her tenth birthday when a green orb appeared within the painting that was to be entered. When she tried to paint over it, it moved from the canvas to the wall. Each time she tried to catch it, it would move closer and closer to the door. It seemed comical at first, but Jia was fed up and followed it (along with her trusty puppy to assist) without knowing she was getting magic'd off to Camp Dynasty. She made sure to contact her mom before staying. She commonly visits her mother, but really enjoys camp.
