Practicing Magic

Keisha felt a little out of place since she was one of the few magicians that was a child of one of the Egyptian gods. Nevertheless, the daughter of Hathor moved some strands of hair from her face while she stood in her circle, waiting to meet her opponent to show up.

Rey made his way into the training room, ready for a competition. He adjusted his glasses. He wore a sleeveless shirt (even though he had no muscle to show off) and sweatpants. His hair was a mess, it was only 8 AM in the morning. He stayed up a bit last night playing video games admittedly. It was easy to not be caught- soundproof spell. Rey looked around, seeing Keisha. She's hot, he thought, gulping. He liked Keisha since he first came to the House of Life. Rey stared and may or may not have drooled a little before walking up to her,

"Keisha! Hi! Do you want to magic practice practice- magic?" he started stuttering on the last part. He was so nervous.

The daughter of Hathor looked up to see Rey and smiled. "Oh, hey, Rey! How are you?"She asked him with a smile. Keisha had on a beautiful pink shirt with white cream and light brow combat boots. She had her staff and wand in hand.

"Sure! I would love to practice magic with you."

"Yeah, yeah, practice magic and stuff. Stuff and practice magic." Rey laughed nervously and then got out his wand, setting his spellbook aside. He gulped before holding his wand in from of him, waiting for the signal to start.

To anyone else, Rey's nervous stuttering would've been a turn off, but to Keisha, she found it rather cute. "Cool, cool." She nodded her head once Rey got ready for their training, signaling them to start. Keisha decided to go first, throwing out her staff and watching it transform into a lioness.

Rey saw the lioness. He quickly countered with a bear, and sent a spell her way that was supposed to freeze her for a few seconds, but his emotions were so set on his huge crush that he accidentally sent a love spell her way. Oh no, he thought, sweating nervously. What did he do?

The lioness growled and pounced on the bear, clawing at its thick hide and fur. Keisha noticed the hieroglyphics for a love spell appeared. Thankfully being the daughter of love, it didn't have much of an affect on her other than make her blush. She sent a spell that caused a bright light to flash in front of Rey's face.

Rey was blinded, and the bear was loosing. Suddenly, he sent out a spell to make her see her worst fear, still blinded. He rubbed his eyes. She was very good, probably better than him. The bear was defeated. Rey could feel the magical presence of it go. That meant the lioness was coming for him- he quickly sent a spell that would make it turn on Keisha, but not hurt her very much.

She was too late to respond to the worse fear spell. Keisha had a fear that she'll never be good enough for anyone. She dropped to her knees still inside the safety of her circle that she had drawn ealier. The lioness then turned on her, but couldn't touch her because she was inside the circle.

After she got over the fear, Keisha quickly got a hold of her composer and went to attack him with a song that would lessen his urge to fight her.

When he wasn't blinded anymore, he got up, and next thing he knew, he didn't want to fight her anymore. She was way too beautiful to fight. He blinked a few times, then dropped his wand. "I'm suddenly not in the mood to fight anymore. Good day, Keisha." Rey awkwardly said his goodbye and picked up his wand, but quickly shot a relaxing spell on her, but accidentlly shot it on himself. He suddenly took his glasses off, going towards her.

"We should go kiss somewhere for a few hours." Woah, did he just- he was so relaxed and chill from the spell he didn't care.

She couldn't help, but giggle when he started to ask daze and totally loving. She looked over at him as he walked out of his circle and toward her. The lioness didn't since a threat from Rey so she let it walk toward Keisha. The daughter of Hathor giggled and once he was close enough, reached up to kiss his cheek. "You gotta buy me dinner first." Keisha teased before putting a dagger to his throat. "And you lose, lover boy."

"Dinner it is. I- lose? Wait, wait a minute-" the spell wore off, and he became nervous again. He nearly passed out when she kissed his cheek. He blushed extremely hard. "Dinner wh-where, m'lady?" he asked, nervously laughing.

Keisha giggled and put her dagger away back in the sheath that was on her hip before looking back at Rey. "I was just messing with you, Rey." She touched his cheek before she started to walk away. She thought he was joking, but something in her felt like he wasn't. "Wait, Rey." The daughter of Hathor turned around. "Were you serious?" He asked.

"Oh, well then, um, bye, Keisha," he said, feeling a bit upset. He put his glasses back on and watched her turn around. "Yea? Uhm- serious about making out or dinner? Because, like either is cool." He snorted a little like a nerd laugh, blushing.

Keisha giggled, shaking her head slowly. "You're kind of cute when you're nervous. Sure. I'll go out to dinner with you. It would be my pleasure." She turned back around and continued walking. However she paused again and did one eighty. "Wait. What time should I be ready?"

"Um..well...when..the clock...eighty thirty would be fine. I should be done watching the Sci Fi channel by then. I, um, thanks, you're cute too...actually, more like, um...hot?" he blushed, adjusting his glasses. He put his hands in his pockets, looking down away from her.

Keisha shook her head and smirked. "Okay then. I'll see you then, Rey." With that, she walked out of the training area.
